Lauren Brinkers is a shoemaker and artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She earned a degree in footwear at Cordwainers shoemaking school in London in 2008, learned first hand on the job with factory workers in Hackney, bespoke shoemakers on Saville Row, and continued her training with cobblers and fellow shoemakers in New York City.

Her shoes are hand-painted, handmade, and one-of-a kind. They're made with buttery soft vegetable-tanned leather, selected and sourced by the artist herself, painted with eco friendly dyes in limited edition mixed palettes. The minimalist silhouette allows for the painting- a passion of hers that came from a need to experiment freely with color.
